Dec 3 Colours for the King

Thailand's King's birthday approaches, and Thais love their King. His 88th birthday is Saturday. The military tradition in advance is a "Trooping of the Colours", whereby they march in full regalia to pay tribute on the grounds in front of the Royal Palace. It was a serious and indeed colourful affair. And everyone had a bit of fun afterwards.
